2021's "Godzilla VS. Kong" is the fourth entry in Legendary's cinematic MonsterVerse franchise, following the events of 2019's "Godzilla: King Of The Monsters". The film follows Kong and his journey into the Hollow Earth to find an energy source to power a device that can stop a rogue Godzilla. Kong ends up finding an entire undiscovered ecosystem and an abandoned temple made by his ancient ancestors, which is also where he gets his axe from.

In 2022, HIYA Toys announced they had secured the license to make figures based on the MonsterVerse, and shortly after, Godzilla & Kong figures were revealed. Then, what followed were HIYA Toys' various different versions of Godzilla & Kong, and one of which was a Heat Ray version of the 2021 figure which used the body mold of the 2019 version. Confusing, I know.

For Christmas 2023, I was gifted this figure and did an unboxing for it, which ended up becoming my most popular figure-related video in the channel's 10 year history! (Still, thank you guys so much for your continuous support on it.) But now 2 years later, is this figure still as good as it was then? Or is it ALREADY outdated? Let's find out in this review!
