Get your light cycles ready...and drive away from this game as fast as you can!

Tron: Evolution is an action-adventure, tie-in video game for the film Tron: Legacy by Propaganda Games, published by Disney Interactive. It was officially announced at the Spike Video Game Awards and was released for the Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360, Wii and Nintendo DS platforms on 7 December 2010. Downloadable content will become available post-launch.[2] The music in the game was composed by Sascha Dikiciyan (aka Sonic Mayhem), Cris Velasco (God of War) and Kevin Manthei. Two tracks from the film composed by Daft Punk are included in the game: "Derezzed" and "The Grid".

Evolution is a third-person action game with racing and RPG elements incorporated. The game features both singleplayer and multiplayer modes. The basic gameplay focuses on acrobatics and combat. Player's movements are heavily parkour-influenced, while combat was inspired by capoeira.[4] The game also features light cycle races. Each cycle leaves a light trail that can hurt or "de-rez" any enemy.[4] Evolution features persistent character progression system, that lets players earn new levels and unlock new upgrades, both in multiplayer and singleplayer.

There will be four different game modes in the game and four maps available. Two modes focus on combat with light discs and two other modes feature vehicular combat on light cycles, as well as a special light tank vehicle. Up to 10 people can play in online matches. Disintegration and team disintegration are classic deathmatch modes. Power Monger is a node control mode and Bit Runner is a capture-the-flag variation.

Tron: Evolution serves as a prequel to the movie Tron: Legacy and sequel to the graphic novel Tron: Betrayal. It is designed to be an integral part of the Tron story, featuring certain characters and settings from both films. Evolution explains the events that led to Kevin Flynn's imprisonment inside The Grid,[4] as well as telling how The Grid evolved through the years.[5] The player controls a program written by Flynn to investigate a conspiracy in the world of Tron. [6]

ISOs (Isomorphic Algorithms) have emerged spontaneously on The Grid. They have a measure of free will, and are disliked by the Basic programs. Jalen, one of the leaders of the ISOs, recently died and Flynn suspects murder. Flynn suspects the murder was organised by Clu, a program seen in the first film. Flynn creates a new Monitor to try to control the system, and this is the player-character that is played in the game.

Radia, leader of the ISOs, is at a formal ceremony to make her a System Administrator alongside Clu. Tron ask the Monitor to guard the ceremony. A suspicious female, Quorra, tries to talk her way past the guards - the Monitor follows her. The ceremony is violently disrupted by the evil Abraxas. The Monitor saves Clu and battles Abraxas, who escapes. Clu disparages the "flaws" of the new ISOs. Tron suggests Flynn leave the Grid for his own safety.

During his battle against Abraxas-inspired corruption, the Monitor sees Flynn and Tron being ambushed by Clu and his guards, and killed. The Monitor discovers the female Quorra also saw the killings. They visit Zuse at a nightclub that serves as a haven for ISOs. Zuse gives them Solar-Sailer access codes and suggests they warn Radia - since her word will be believed by the ISOs. As they travel there they realize that Clu has declared war on the ISOs.

I do not own Tron or the video
