IGFTW Ep. 24 takes a look at a PS1 game that I'm assuming most people have never heard about, Sony Computer Entertainment and Zest Works' 1998 action adventure game Wonder Trek. You can call it a "hidden gem," you can call it an activist game, you can call it a work of art--I call it a damned good title with charm, heart and an thought-provoking message.

Gameplay was captured using the Elgato Game Capture HD, and video/audio was edited using Sony Movie Studio Platinum Suite, Version 12. Music was used from Getsu Fuuma Den (Konami, Famicom), Castlevania: Harmony of Despair (Konami, Xbox 360), and Genpei Toumaden (Namco, Arcade)

Other games featured in this video are Panzer Dragoon Orta (Sega, Xbox), Juouki: Project Altered Beast (Sega, PS2), Super Mario 3D World (Nintendo, Wii), Ghost in the Shell (SCE, PS1), Tetsujin 28-Go (Bandai, PS2), Gourmet Sentai Barayarou (Virgin, Super Famicom), Sentimental Graffiti 2 (NEC Interchannel, Dreamcast), Dark Souls (From Software, PS3), The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (Nintendo, Gameboy Advance), and Ore! Tomba! (SCE, PS1).

All music was taken directly from the game, except for the opening track, which is from Gensou Suikogaiden Vol. 1 (Konami, PS1).

A few movie/television video clips were taken from Densha Otoko (Fuji TV), Cliffhanger (Tristar), Brokeback Mountain (Focus Features), and Princess Mononoke (Studio Ghibli).
