Reviewing the Retro Fighters DEFENDER!
Retro Fighters has long had a history of making incredible controllers - everything from the StrikerDC for the Dreamcast, to the Brawler 64 for the Nintendo 64, to the Duelist for the Switch - their controllers are always one of the best options for playing games on classic and modern consoles and PC.
But until recently, they haven't made anything for Sony hardware. Enter the brand new Retro Fighters DEFENDER, a controller compatible with the PS1, PS2, PS3, PlayStation Classic, Nintendo Switch, and the PC. At $ 44.99, the Defender has a lofty history to live up to with the pedigree Retro Fighters has established with their previous controllers, and I wanted to put this through the paces. I ran through games on the PS1, PS2, PS3 (though I couldn't capture footage, my capture card is giving me fits, my apologies!), the PlayStation Classic (both unmodded and modded), and the Nintendo Switch.
