After doing a bunch of 1 Star FOs with rewardless defense rounds, I figured that I would try the whole thing rewardless with some extra conditions...

1. I must clear Defense Phase with no cogs remaining. The other videos I would see doing this rewardless consist of Lure and praying for no Retention plan. I think it's more effective to try denying promos and setting up a full wipe with Traps, but in higher stars this can be more difficult to set up. In a 1 Star though, it should be easy.

2. Solo the minigames. To be fair, I was quad tooning these runs so I had to solo them regardless. 1 Star minigames are really easy anyway, so soloing them boosts their difficulty for me which is fun. (Soloing Cold Caller Cubicles is a lot more stressful than you'd think, too.)

I had some really bad RNG with Drop and some Boiler turns (that toonup miss could have ended the challenge so quickly...). Fortunately, Cog attacks were in my favor and I was able to dodge a few game-changing attacks. Risking the Storm Clouds on Defense Phase was also a good move overall, as I wouldn't have been able to kill the level 14s otherwise.

I'm hoping to do this with 2 and 3 stars as well, but I gotta set that up with my buddies since there's no way I'm soloing the minigames on those difficulties!
