There are plenty of anecdotes about how the Dreamcast VMU syncs up with the music in the game but we couldn't find any video of it in action. To be the change we want to see in the world, here ya go!

It's no wonder that I couldn't picture this tiny blinking row of dots in my memories given the mesmerizing visuals happening on screen.

I didn't want to push the limits of copyright claims by including too much of the music here so I've only got a couple of quick examples but I think it's proof enough of the design choice.
