1Russian Fishing 4 (RF4 original Russian title: Русская Рыбалка 4 ) is an RPG - simulation of a Russian developer studio.
It was released in June 2017 as the successor to the game Russian Fishing 3 , initially in the Russian-speaking world. It quickly aroused strong interest in Central Europe and other countries via social networks. Since the fall of 2017, RF4 has been offered in an increasing number of other languages (including German), each with its own player community and its own management. The game is available both as a standalone version and via the online gaming platform Steam and is free to download and play.
Like its predecessor, Russian Fishing 4 is based on a simulation . The focus is on fishing with its diverse characteristics and exercise options. The game world consists of a constantly growing number of standing and flowing waters that are modeled after real fishing regions in Russia/Siberia. Each body of water is a unique ecosystem with associated fish fauna, vegetation and infrastructure. All virtual landscapes are also subject to dynamic weather conditions and a 24-hour day-night cycle.
The game engine Unity is used in the game.
