👉 The RG557 looked great on paper, but left a lot to be desired in reality. In addition to Mali driver compatibility issues, the RG557 seemed to handle sluggishly, even in high power mode. Never one to give up, Zu assembled a rag tag team of developers and nerds on the RH discord and set out to fix the 557. Using scripts that unlocked an actual high performance mode, we were able to increase power by almost 15%. That doesn't seem like much, but the real world results were pretty stark compared to the stock experience.
