Interestingly, fans are accustomed to seeing green and gold portals, which signify transit within the Central Finite Curve and the broader multiverse, respectively, but the entrances to the antiverses are designated by red portals. This is understandable given that Rick states that these antiverses are "worlds whose entire timelines were rotted by uncertainty," leading to apocalyptic results, rather than analogous parallel Earths.
These antiverses and the twisted Ricks and Mortys they have produced, as well as satisfying readers' thirst for a new kind of portal travel, are obviously part of the comics' ambitious intentions. The most recent Rick and Morty comics are also show-canon; therefore, it's feasible that starting with season 8, the antiverses and their characters will make an appearance in the series.
