The Rise and Fall of Assassin Heroes (Rickert)

A long time ago, Assassins ruled the arena since the dawn of Eternal Evolution and that was more than 6 months of ruling led by Bailey Hudson, until Vanguards stepped in and Leo dethrone Bailey Hudson as the king of the Arena. Now that summoners have arrived with their furious leader Anpu and his mummies with the help of Sorvaleys slaves, Leo was dethroned even with the support of the chaos bull Crete and Nafing. Meanwhile, a new assassin hero was born and his name is Rickert, who has a potential to take back the king of the arena title with the help of Bailey Hudson. Bailey Hudson and Rickert are now searching for the lost divine prototype that, according to legends tale, that divine prototype holds the key to match the power of Vanguards and Summoners. Rumors from the underworld speculated that another hero should be born so that they can harness the true power of the said divine prototype.

Today, I will show you the best team for Rickert to utilize him in the Story mode instance in which some players acquired him as immortal early. Rickert is a burst assassin hero that is mainly critical build in which he harnesses his crit rate from assassin allies and he always teleports to them whenever he is threatened. Partnering him with Bailey Hudson is the best thing to do because Bailey Hudson can evade or cast displacement skill if he absorbs damage more than 30% of his max HP.

As of the moment, the best Commander for assassin heroes is Hagradon which gives them passive shields everytime they cast displacement skills and still pain rune is the best in order for assassins to stun enemies while attacking them. Crowd Control effects like the stud coming from pain rune are still unstoppable except for some skills of heroes like Serena, Oisa and Leo's ultimate skill.

This is an Autobattle and as you can see there are swords icons above each assassin hero in which this is the sword soul coming from Rickert. Rickert gains 50% of the crit rate of all allies with sword soul and every time he casts his ultimate skill, those swords were absorbed by Rickert and for every 3 sword souls, he can cast another slash. The more assassin units in the battlefield, the more additional slashes Rickert dealt towards the enemies. The Crit rate absorption of Rickert will reset after he casts his ultimate skill and the cycle starts again as long as there are assassins in the battlefield.
Always remember that, Crit type heroes like the assassins work best to enemies with low defense or low damage reductions. The only assassin as of the moment that can ignore defense is Bailey Hudson using his skill with pure damage.

If you use the commander Gabal, something there is missing and if you will go back to my fictitious story, a divine prototype for assassin or another hero is missing in order for the assassin team to function well in numerous battles or game modes. Well, the developers mind is so unpredictable which I like the most because they give us full of surprises.

Rickert can be used in bosses in which he can deal tremendous amounts of critical damage. Take this for example the roulette of truth which is like a Tara Dome Argo boss. The best commander here is still hagradon and use the divine prototype chaos chip. Although you can defeat this level 6 boss without Rickert, still it is so satisfying to watch those critical damage coming in.


So far, the best question for Rickert is, Is he a must get hero?
Well, in my opinion, Rickert is a broken hero with the same level in terms of tier as bailey Hudson. The only problem here is the assassin team lacks something. That something is maybe a divine prototype for assassins or another hero that has a skill that can make assassins stay longer in battles using Gabal as the commander. That is my honest opinion but who knows maybe in the next patch, that fictitious story of mine will come true. I would suggest getting a copy of Rickert is the best thing to do.
