Ricmotech Hotlap Humpday - Stock Cars at Charlotte Roval
Ricmotech Hotlap Humpday is a hotlap or time trial type event with the top drivers fighting it out in shootout for this months honors...
The racers will compete in their choice of cars from the GTE class with iRacing at Daytona Road Course. Who will be the fastest?? At the end of our Hot Lapping shootout, the top drivers will compete head to head to crown this months champion.
Ricmotech Hotlap Humpday happens on the third Wednesday of each month and is open to all iRacers. The password will be given out during the stream. No drivers are aware of the track or car combination until the session opens.
Our stream today covers the action of Shaun Cole of The Simpit along with Robby Unser as they take the challenge.
Shaun will be using a Sim Xperience Accuforce Wheelbase and Ricmotech RealGear Pedals mounted to an RSeat S1 Sim chassis with a Sim Xperience GS5 GSeat.
EVENT SCHEDULE-2020 ROUND 10
5:45PM (EDT): HotLap Warmup Practice Begins (15 min.) Tech Setup to prepare for live broadcast beginning at 6:00pm. Hot Lap Starts at top of the hour
6:00PM (EDT): Qualifying Begins - Laps must be clean or they will not record on the leaderboard
9:40PM (EDT): 20 minute Race Event - Drivers will be given a full tank of fuel
10:00PM (EDT): Race completes & as well as event
10:45PM (EDT): Session Ends

Race Marshall (Kevin Ford) will Marshall the Event
If a driver wrecks they must bring the car to pit road to reset, if they are forced to reset/tow to the pits they are disqualified.
If a driver makes aggressive car contact with another vehicle they are at risk of a drive through penalty, their black flag will be cleared when they exit the pits
If all cars are damaged, prior to the end of the event, then by default the last car running, that is in the lead at that time, will win the event.
If all the cars make it to the finish then the winner will win the grand prize of a Ricmotech High Performance Sim Racing T-Shirt. If this winner is a Hotlap Challenge Championship entry driver then they will also acquire the designated champ points for winning this month's event.
