Well, there's a lot to explain here. First of all, I've been practicing that first race you see for several hours, both on and off stream. I've decided to not upload those streams that I've done nothing but tryharding this, since it's pretty much the same thing you see here, but failing the whole way. Anyways, that race was the hardest race I've ever played in a Ridge Racer game, possibly in any game for that matter lol. To the point I had to disable almost all of the UI to not get distracted and even practice with save states, just to see if this was even possible to win.
Also, in case you wonder why I didn't use the Caddy Car, it's because its stats are fake (it's not the fastest car in the game, not even close) and because the last two challenges apparently detect you're using a bonus car, and will not wait for you on the second lap, which makes the race impossible to win.
