Rimac Nevera | World's Fastest Electric Hypercar First Look
With 1,914 horsepower and all-wheel drive, Croatian hypercar goes from 0 to 300 km/h in an impressive 9.3 seconds
Here's the impressive Rimac Nevera , the production version of the Rimac C_Two concept . As well as being a dazzlingly tech-packed electric hypercar , performance data makes this new Rimac simply the fastest-accelerating production car in the world .
The Rimac Nevera is named after a type of storm that suddenly appears over the Croatian sea, a very powerful storm with many lightning strikes that is described as spectacular to behold. The name is very apt for a vehicle with 1,914 horsepower and 240.7 kgfm of torque combined from its four permanent magnet motors. The hypercar weighs 2,150 kg.
The Rimac says the Nevera can accelerate from 0 96 km / h in 1.85 seconds and that will continue to accelerate to 412 km / h. Its stated quarter mile time is 8.6 seconds and the hypercar can go from zero to 300 km/h in an almost unbelievable 9.3 seconds (about 2.5 seconds faster than expected by the brand).
Power comes from a 120 kWh battery that is also part of the vehicle's structure. It's water-cooled, but currently we don't know its maximum charge rate - it certainly won't be a slow-charging package, but we'll have to wait for the official numbers.
