Rime Revenge! Part #20: Jorge-Related Trolling (ONI: Spaced Out!)
0In this VOD of my re-attempt at a Rime run, we build a Nosh Sprout farm so that we can make Spicy Tofu as the last gourmet food for convincing Jorge to join the colony. This is probably the first time I've ever intentionally farmed Nosh Sprouts... only to find that the Printing Pod gives us Spicy Tofu the day before the first harvest! We also explore the rest of the Stinko Swamp asteroid and find a frozen friend, who we reroll a few times to avoid getting a Flatulent dupe. We got enough of those on the last run! Nevertheless, we finally manage to recruit Jorge and he is an impressive dupe that has at least 7 in every attribute, can trigger other Dupe Overjoyed Responses, and occasionally hands out some very glitchy balloons. Cycles 330-346 are in this video.
The overall aim of the run is to get further into the late-game on a Classic-style run than ever before, without any major gimmicks. Ideally, we would like to complete the three big story traits that we haven't gotten around to doing yet; we've now completed the Ancient Specimen trait so at least we're making good progress on that! I also want to make sure we use all 15 Magma Volcanoes on the map at some point this time! Youtube decided we should play on a map with Volcanoes, so here we are.
