A bit of a fix was given to the Newton Neutral AI. He'll be a bit more aggressive, but not enough to make it a repetitive thing. You'll see in the episode how he acts with events and such.

As for our story, we're finishing up preparation. Surviving the last winter before the big attack and making sure we can survive the onslaught the hivemind has prepared for us.
