EA have decided to close down the servers for a list of games (see below) and Burnout Revenge is one of them. It's a launch title that held out for a long time but is now taken down. So, I'm giving the game a few more race sessions before April 13th 2012.

I'd like to point out EA have been doing this for about 2 years now which is pretty bullcrap. This is the latest batch of games to be taken down. Previous titles include Army of Two and Skate. Doing this renders online achievements unobtainable(I got all of mine for BR though) and anyone with an online pass obselete not to mention shuts down a small section of the gaming communitry. Granted Burnout doesn't need an online pass but for a company that ruined the gaming industry with the online pass trend, they're now laughing at those who buy their games (like MMA which needs an online pass). In a nutshell
EA are c*nts.
