RIS SIZE MAP WITH VANILLA GAMEPLAY - Kirsi's Imperator Map For Vanilla -RTW Remastered Mod Spotlight
In this video we take a look at the brand new RIS Map For Vanilla by Kirsi, that has a huge 870 region map but keeps everything else vanilla. It's a great new addition for those that find RIS too hard or want that vanilla gameplay. Enjoy!

Kirsi's imperator style map template for Vanilla RR, including a total of 871 regions.
This mod is just a campaign map (in a similar vein to the Mundus Magnus map), no new factions or units are added.
I believe this is the second largest map (after the RIS one) in terms of size & number of regions. Particular attention has been paid to accurately representing starting cities (mainly for the Hellenistic factions) & region borders for the 278 BC start date. Hence there are some peculiarities, such as Macedon not having control of Upper Macedonia, Gauls having Lysimachia, Pontus having Amastris & Egypt having Damascus. All located settlements have been placed on the map as accurately as possible in relation to their real world locations.
The map is technically fully playable, but has no trade resources at present. Feel free to use as a modding resource and modify it however you wish, just please keep the credits.txt that details all the people who made this map possible. I've also included a change log detailing the various extraneous changes to some of the text files in /data.
Side note: Despite the way the map mesh looks, the lower reaches of the Danube, Nile & Ganges rivers are navigable; this is by design.

Road Map:
I do not expect to be making any major changes to the map going forward, at least not in the short term. Minor things like region borders & tree placement will probably be tweaked (just a few pixels here and there) in the short term.
The two things I will be actively working on next are:
1 - Adding trade resources to all regions (at least one per settlement).
2 - Adding some more new textures hopefully, for Tibet & India.
