Rise of Flight: First Game Online (2nd life)
0So I got the f2p edition (includes 2 playable planes only, although you can hop in other people's planes and use their gunner's seats which is one feature I thought that was in WT before I started playing it).
I was lucky enough to randomly stumble upon a "training" unlimited respawns 120minute deathmatch mode server as my first server choice. There were only two servers with people at the time anyway.
My first life was more interesting but I didn't kill anyone though. It took me about 5 minutes to figure out that all I had to do is turn the mixture up to 100% before turning on the engine. I'm still not used to the controls, nor did I know what some of the hud elements meant (i.e. the mixture/radiator/throttle circle) until midway this video too.
I initially didn't have name tags enabled in that life but I still could identify enemies as their planes had big crosses and mostly grey coloured, managed to get on two people's 6s but no luck on getting hits that actually dealt significant damage.
Oh yeah, and you have to sort of take the safety off the guns before you can use them or something... It's also nice how you can rearm the gun if it gets jammed too.
With just 4 fps with lowest crappy graphics settings, I still find this game such a great game.

And yes, I did fly offline before going online.
I first tried the career mode but I couldn't find out how to get into the mission (there's a next mission button which skips mission... but can't find the button to enter one)
So I tried campaign, and there's a training course. I lol'd at the instructor, and since my hardware is crappy anyway, the animation for some reason was going faster than it should be and he was literally... talking over himself.
