Rise Of The Dark Fog! Part #13: Needs More Dakka (Dyson Sphere Program)
The combat update of Dyson Sphere Program has been released and the Dark Fog is spreading its shadow across the galaxy! This game is currently still in early access but already has the feature set of a complete and thoroughly engaging interstellar factory building experience. I'm eager to see just how much the factory building process changes with the addition of an enemy faction that scales based off of your energy production. If we die in the mech... we're gonna need to reload and try again!
In this episode, we build some production lines for Precision Drones and Superalloy Bullets, which in large enough numbers and with enough extra technologies from the Green Science, will let us actually fight even established Dark Fog bases on the ground and win! To test things out we evict the Dark Fog from our starting system! This proves that we can remove them as needed in future systems and gives us the confidence to start setting up our Dyson Sphere production lines in the O-type star system adjacent to the Red Giant. We'll get our Antimatter production going there and then use the White Science to build a Dyson Sphere on the Red Giant for the achievement.
