RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES (2011) MOVIE REACTION - FIRST TIME WATCHING - REVIEW
Welcome to my first-time watching as we react to Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011). A riveting journey that is filled with groundbreaking visual effects and a gripping storyline that shows us the evolution of Caesar and his fellow apes.
Starring James Franco and Andy Serkis, and directed by Rupert Wyatt, this film reimagines the iconic franchise with a fresh take on the origins of the intelligent apes. Not only do they take us through how The Planet of the Apes came to be but there's also quite a few nods to the original Planet of the Apes that came out in 1968.
This film has a surprisingly good amount of emotional depth as it explores the moral complexities of the narrative. Also we have to give a massive shoutout to Andy Serkis for his incredible performance through motion-capture technology.
We hope that you enjoy our reactions, commentary and discussions as we delve into the film's themes, how it goes beyond your standard blockbuster and how the depth in it's storytelling is what ultimately makes this film be a standout!
