We modded the snakes to not be aggressive. Many people hate snakes. So we modified their behaviour in our game so that instead of the snakes being aggressive as was the default they will now more likely try and hide when you approach them as seen in real life. Saying that, snakes have been added to and will be hiding in all 17 biomes.
