Risk the Board game heads to Hollywood? Stay right there, Clevver Movies has the story

According to the Hollywood reporter, screenwriter John Hlavin is set to write the board game inspired movie. Columbia pictures in currently in development with Hlavin to create an unforgettable thriller based on players who form alliances and attack territories owned by other players and will take place in modern times all over the world.

While Risk is the latest board game to be turned into a movie, another board game inspired movie to keep on your radar will be "Battleship" which will star Rhianna and Liam Neeson and has plans to hit the big screen May 18th 2012!
