Risk of Rain 2 - Eclipse 8 Super Massive Leech(??) Commando
Let's freaking go. No 3D Printer.
... I did use a Cauldron though and it did matter, the extra life came in because I choked on the 3rd phase. Gonna be honest that Super Massive Leech, while it had niche uses in Eclipse it provided Bottled Chaos procs. The healing is kinda irrelevant at this high of an Eclipse level but don't overlook it on your Monsoon and even Eclipse 4 runs. These Eclipse 8 runs have given me a greater appreciation for Personal Shield Generators, Oddly Shaped Opal and Warbanner. Warbanner in particular if you want to get through the early stages at a decent pace.
I feel like I've gotten much better at RoR2 because I had so many attempts at Eclipse 8. I think that type of training applied to every single level of Eclipse. I mentioned it in a comment response, but every time I hit a wall on a certain Eclipse level by the time I clear it something eventually clicks and I can get the rest of the characters in that eclipse level much more easier. Of course there are the occasional characters that I get stuck on as I move onto other levels but that just means I get more practice on other modifiers.
And that's Commando done. Between all these runs and that ridiculous wave 20 Monsoon achievement grind, he's become my most played character. He's not my favorite and I don't think he's the worst survivor, but I can't deny how simplistic he makes the game and that's not a bad thing for the starting character.
