If you haven't played this game, it's a decent beat 'em up, but its unsatisfying endings ruin the experience for many people, including myself. Back when this game came out, I played it with a friend of mine, and the original endings left us pissed off to no end as fans of Kunio Tachi no Banka.

The main initiative of this mod was to change one of the absolute worst and unsatisfying video game endings, and make some improvements with the story and character names.

EDIT:
All of a sudden, WayForward released an update patch 1.1 with a new true ending, which makes the unmodded game infinitely better. However, if you're still not satisfied with the official bad & good endings, I've included an updated version of my mod for the official 1.1 update patch.


-Remade the endings and remade true last bosses' dialog.
-Slightly changed some minor dialog.
-Renamed security guard Pattinson to Takayama (as a reference to the cop from Kunio Tachi no Banka).
-Renamed teacher Rudis to Kawakami (as he was named in the Japanese localization of RCG, as a reference to the teacher from Downtown Nekketsu Baseball Monogatari).
-Renamed most enemies with Western names to have a more Japanese feel (most of them are references to other Nekketsu titles, including Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari (FC and X68000 versions), Shodai Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun, River City Soccer Hooligans and Nekketsu Kakutou Densetsu):
