Robe Crafting: Almost every town has an NPC with "Haori Crafter" above it's head. They craft robes. This is the same with the accessories for the other quest.

Skills - When you get enough skills, you can choose a move and equip it under a letter. This is done under your backpack through the skills button menu. This is the best way to deal damage.
