4Robb Stark recieves a raven from Winterfell informing him that Theon Greyjoy has turned on the Stark cause, raided the North, and occupied Winterfell. Robb immediately decides to return home to deal with the Ironborn, reasoning that a king who can't defend his home has no right to be called king. Bolton, however, explains the consequences of Robb's rash decision, and offers an alternative: asking his bastard Ramsay Snow to raise a force at the Dreadfort and using it to overwhelm Theon's weak hold, a plan which Robb eventually agrees with.
