0Robert Sapolsky is an American neuroendocrinologist researcher and author. He is a professor of biology, neurology, and neurological sciences at Stanford University.
Sapolsky focuses his research on Neurology, issues of stress and neuronal degeneration, and strategies of protecting and researching neurotransmitters. His specialization into human behavioral biology helps further development into mental health, relationships, and evolutionary traits.
Sapolsky advocates into a deterministic view of human behavior, According to him, "there is no free will, or at least there is much less free will than generally assumed when it really matters." He argues human actions are and can be determined by hormones, neurobiology, childhood, and other life circumstances.
