Roberts SS and Collections - Episode 2
We have already seen the work that Rob has completed because he partnered with Joe on the 1956 Chevy Bel Air that we had on the channel in October 2022. Joe and Rob partnered in this vehicle to first it off from the previous owner that had health issues and then sell it off. They are almost ready; they are just replacing in the Gearbox in the Chevy and then it ready to be sold to buyers. If your interested, then let us know and we can pass your details onto Rob or Joe.
This 56 is immaculate in every way and is a turnkey car, just get in and enjoy every moment.
SS Malute
The SS Holden Ute that he has called his “Malute” is his daily driver. Its combination of Maloo parts that he has added which why the name. He wanted this vehicle because Holden Utes are no longer being produced and he wanted a piece of this Aussie Icon for himself to keep.
Rob has owned this Malute for about 5 years now and when he first got it, the look was very standard. He left the 20inch mags rim on with the 245 tyres all round but made changes to the Ute, like add a Version 1 Maloo front end for a more aggressive look, added graphic to the side of the Ute, Maloo Seats that have half suede and half leather, plus he added the Maloo steering Wheel.
Green is Rob’s favourite colour, and he states he is being environmentally friendly. The Malute is running a 6lt unopened engine with matchless tune, ramjet cool air intake, extractors and a 2.5inch exhaust system with Manta mufflers. He has also added Brembo Bakes system with 4 piston calipers for greater stopping power to the front end.
This is one very cool Ute for his daily driver and he would sell this if he could get a Maloo Ute instead, but with the price of them at the present, it may not be possible.
Man Cave
Rob has an awesome collection of Pinball machines that every in dates and ages, this includes old gambling pinball machines as well. He competes in the WA pinball events and is rank 30900 in the world at present. Aussie Garage had to have a few Games whilst there and its was like being back in an arcade or milk bar in 1984. So, when Rob is not working on his cars, he’s in the man cave restoring pinball machines and playing them. I would love to have one off these at my house.
Super thanks to Rob for having Aussie Garage over the See your 1972 Buick Rivera, Holden SS Ute, and your pinball collection in your man cave. We really appreciate you giving us your time.
