Robing A Morgue, A Man Named Ozob & The Truth About How The Last Mayor (Cyberpunk 2077 2.22 S22)
0"I know you'll write something nice" i wrote that to myself when ever I transferred this footage from twitch and I originally wanted to be upset with the fact that I left my no context for the description of this session, but revising the footage I see now I basically only did 3 missions.
breaking into a morgue- I kinda started this session thinking about buying car, but despite having decent amount of eddies and high street cred I can't afford a new car or bike. So I did a side mission. It required me to sneak into a morgue and I'll admit that I made it harder on myself by not checking for more people when gain access to each area. In the end I pull it off and get out for my next mission.
Send In the Clowns- This mission defiantly stand out when thinking of the missions I've done up to this point, not so much the obvious thing that you should be drawn to, but by the fact I don't not much make sense about. This mission started contacting my "client" Ozob. He wants me to pick him up, the fact he has a grenade on his face come up. I drop him off where he wants and after I do he causes a fight with some Tiger Claws. I back him up taking out 3 and he parts ways with me. It takes less an 10 minutes and I'm not sure why I went through it, the only thing that I say that comes out it is that when I killed the last Tiger Claw I maxed out my street cred.
Political Favors/Meeting River- So this what took most of the session and was super interesting. So awhile back I got contacted by someone while looking for Evelyn, but didn't put much thought into it because I wanted find her in that session. Well I decide to check up on it and the person that contacted me is the wife of the guy who will probably be the next mayor of Night City. He offered me a job to look into the death of last mayor which immediately captured my attention. In the midst of the heist that would lead to me getting Silverhand in V's head I briefly passed by a meeting of some people discussing the mayor and I remember saying that meeting was probably important, but couldn't focus on it at the time.
So I instantly was invested to see the conclusion of this mission. So I immediate took the case of figuring out what happened to the late mayor which put me in contact detective named River who is also looking to the sudden demise of the mayor. We traveled around the city ask some questions and got a promising lead. It seem the mayor visited a secret club and you exclusive access to enter said club. We headed over to the location of said club which kicked off my slow infiltration. This was far and beyond what I thought I'd be dealing with going into when I started this mission because I didn't think that I'd have to take out super buff security, but luckily they went down like any other regular npc guarding an area.
After basically taking all the outside and inside guards around the secret entrance I descended into the club to find more extremely jacked people basically take up residence in this secret club. I carefully took out everyone out and came to a crossroads with figuring out the truth. The first way I found the truth was use a brain dance that almost kills me and was definitely the item that killed the late mayor. After not liking that outcome I decided load a quick save to do some more searching and found who was in charge of the people in the club. I got some information on who hired them to be in the club and then found some video footage that showed me the police were involved in that cover up of the mayor's death and more interesting River's partner was the one help cover up the mayor's demise.
So after learning that info I decided after doing a throughout sweep of the club that to get the best outcome I had to use the brain dance again to get River in the club so he could see the footage that I found otherwise he just waits in the car. After leaving the club e confronted River's partner who basically told him to let this go or it would lead to him getting fired. I kinda left River to contemplate his choices and went to reported him findings to the mayor to be. I had a slight disagreement with Johnny over how I presented the information, but I choose to go with the complete truth seeing how I almost died to get all of the information. Although I completed the mission I some how feels there's more to come from this mission wither it be from River or the soon to be mayor.
