Roccat Kain AIMO 122 and 202 Wireless Review
It's great to see a new shape on the market but will this line of mice be a hit or fall off the radar?
I talk about "safe shapes" allowing you to place your fingers in all kinds of grip points, but "safe" doesn't necessarily mean "good", it just means it's easily recommended. A really safe shape would be a rectanglar box, no curvature. Comfortable? No. Safe? Yes. This might be a little too "safe" in that regard, however my main complaint is the high button height. My minor complaint is the slight bulbous feel at the bottom of the sides.
Great to see Roccat trying comfort curves in the buttons, I like those and the low latency is a selling point for people who think 1 or 2ms actually matters more than getting the right shape and having experienced game sense. It is good tech though but to take advantage you have to turn on the zero debounce in the software, which could introduce other problems. Otherwise you're back at 2 to 4ms delay like a lot of other mice.
So yeah, it's good but not something I'm super excited about or going to recommend a lot, but I'm sure it will suit some people out there... it's mainly about the shape, so if you think it matches your grip, give it a try!
