So to start, I broke my drumsticks that came with Rockband 2 and was looking for replacements and figured that I would just go buy real drumsticks, until I found replacements that are made for Rock Band! I thought that if there was such a thing that they would be overpriced and not worth it, but it turns out that they were about the same price and came with a bit of a bonus!

The ones that I came across are the rubber tip rockband 2 flame drumsticks and I found them in my local Best Buy. While I was looking around, there were a few other sets of drumsticks that were made for RockBand as well, but they were made out of plastic and were more expensive and not as high quality. The thing that makes these drumsticks different is the rubber tips that come with them. Not only does it keep the noise down, but it also gives a nice kickback when you hit the drum set, which, for me, makes it easier to play. The only problem with the tips is that they get dirty and sometimes come close to shooting off in the middle of playing an intense song, so be sure to secure them before and after each song you play.

The other reason why I really like these drumsticks is the weight distribution. In the original Rock Band 2 drumsticks, the weight distribution was a little weird and I didn't really like it very much. Even right before I broke them, I still wasn't comfortable using them and they were keeping me from playing my best. One other issue with the original drumsticks is the roughness of the sticks. When I was done playing a few songs, my hands were almost raw because the drumsticks weren't good quality. Now with the new drumsticks, not only do they keep your hands from hurting, but their weight is distributed almost perfectly so that it helps the bounce back even more than just with the tips!

Overall, the Rubber Tip Rock Band 2 Drumsticks are worth buying, even if you haven't broken the original drumsticks yet. In my opinion, they will help you proceed and become better at playing the drums on Rockband 2.

One other side note, these drumsticks don't only have to be used with Rock Band 2, they can be used with any of the Guitar Hero's, Rock Bands, and even with a real drumset if you want! (I just had to put that in there so nobody would ask...)
