Rock Of Ages 2 - Time Trial: Sarpedon
1Hello Ghouls, Ghosts and Themlins,
This video covers the Time Trial level for Sarpedon. It's the eleventh map of the set. This map has a lot of twists, turns and pit falls but luckily, there are a few shortcuts that will have you bypassing many parts of the map. Right in the very beginning, there will be 2 large boulders to your LEFT as you leave the start line. Jump off the platform BEHIND the 2nd rock to bypass the turn you'd otherwise have to go on, which adds unnecessary time to your run.
After you roll up the hill, run directly over the corner to lose some momentum and prevent yourself from careening off the map. After you turn to face the castle, continue straight off the edge of that platform and jump across to bypass another part of the map. If you've done it right, you should have enough momentum to completely jump over a house obstacle in the middle of the next platform. If you don't make it over the house, restart the map.
Once you've made it over the house, pay attention to an upcoming white pillar to your RIGHT, with 2 large boulders a few feet BEHIND IT. Roll directly BETWEEN the 2 boulders and jump off to the hidden platform below. From this platform, you can either aim for the small platform to your right or the larger one with 2 boulders on the edge. If you want to play it safe and go for the larger platform, make sure to aim for BETWEEN the 2 large boulders on this platform and jump into them. Either way you choose to go through, this will shave off even more time and should be enough to get you Gold.
