Rocket Knight Adventures (Sega Genesis Model 1) Not-So-Awesome Possum Platformer | YTF
3Konami's Contra corps of developers worked on this speedy furry mascot platformer. In an age where so many publishers were looking for the next Sonic the Hedgehog, Konami's contribution involved an anthropomorphic opossum wearing a rocket pack with a full suit of medieval armor. In this steampunk world, the hero will slaughter swine and pig-piloted contraptions, in order to save an abducted female, as was the case in many 20th-century console games.
This footage was captured from a cartridge, played on a Sega Genesis Model 1. I plugged the composite video cable into a DVD recorder, which output the footage (in 720p) via HDMI to a USB capture device. The Windows 10 Camera app recorded the 60 Hz footage at a 1024x768 resolution.
