After almost 3 months (and 20 rendering errors in the last hour), here's a video I thought was going to take a week.

It's always fun to revisit games you played when you were too young to have opinions and see if you can't muster up enough critic-ism to identify and point out flaws. I was pleasantly surprised with Rocket Slime, the only big "fault" I could find with the game was that it was so easy outside of the tank combat.

Bouncing around, flicking enemies in the air and then catching them on your head is really satisfying. Each hit you're trying to account for corners stuff will bounce off of and trying to figure out where you should stand in order to catch your target, very fun. The existence of the tank combat in the slime game is funny enough on it's own, but it's handled in a way that's incredibly fun and scratches a bunch of gameplay "itches". I really enjoy games where you can board an enemy vehicle and break components that do things, it's not something you see very often either (probably because it's very hard to implement). This goofy slime game feels like a precursor to FTL: Faster than Light.
