So many ROM hacks have that one spot that's just...too much. (I mean, of the ones where 'too much' isn't the default, at least.) Like, if you're throwing oodles of extra lives at me, that's a sign that you've gone too far. The generosity doesn't help the fact that you have a challenge that's overboard by a long shot! Yeah, it's conceptually neat, but this one needed a pretty serious rethink.
At least Mr. X 4 doesn't have anything like that, because it doesn't have anything! This is the other missing stage, and I believe the last one.
