Rockman X7 Playthrough: Tunnel Base (Vanishing Gungaroo)
0The fourth stage I picked and it's a welcome sight with the stage's gimmick being the ability to use Ride Armour a mech that you can jump into that ignores certain hazards and has it's own rather large health bar, the first one you pick up has a rapid fire basic shot as well as a pair of missile firing shoulder cannons though it does stop to fire both.
the first area is a number of hallways with pretty poor camera angles though with the Ride Armour it goes go quickly, in the following area there is a pathway through if you managed to lose your armour as well as a second type of ride armour this one has a drill punch basic attack and a powerful jump into shockwave as it's secondary though it is much worse than the one you get at the start.
The next area of not is a room with a few large creates around and a number of enemies including Ride Armour types that you need to kill to progress though make sure to collect everything in the room before killing the required number.
to wrap up this combat focused stage is the fight with Vanishing Gungaroo who starts the fight in a ride Armour of his own that is rather easiy to take down before moving to the actual fight with him, he's pretty agile and the camara's sluggish clumsy control can make keeping taps on him difficult though he does at least have sound cue's for each attack letting you know what is coming and with a little practice you don't even need to know his exact location to avoid him, despite the camara this fight is another decent attempt at a good 3d boss as there are clear audio tells to help out when the camera lets you down.
