ROCKPI4 - PANFROST TESTING - read description
19This its a test of panfrost mesa driver on rockpi4, an rk3399 device from radxa. You may think its a horrible performance because of the glitches, but Collabora's team its developing this driver with consistency, gaining speed and solving bugs. we are not too far from mature 2.1 gl profile. and this gpu has much more power than Videocore 6 (RPI4). This mesa driver will also target midgard/bifrost gpus, like odroid N2. It will be my favourite sbc, because it as a faster gpu (but not as mature drivers as rpi4) , emmc memory socket, 2x usb 3.0 ports with independent buffers, and nvme m.2 port. As linux arm desktop, that make it more suitable than rpi4. Another thing ive note its than my rockpi4 suffer almost no screen tearing, while my rpi4 does a lot of tearing.
