As you may know state of CentOS shifted from downstream to upstream, this means it is no longer a stable release and cannot be used in production environment.
Rocky Linux "replaced" CentOS and it is backed by all major tech companies.
Name comes from deceased CentOS dev. Rocky McGaugh.

Things we will do:
0. Downloading ISO image from Rocky Linux website.
1. Setting up VMware Workstation.
2. Setting up static IP on Rocky Linux.
3. Creating a test user and join it to SUDO doers.
4. Install XFCE desktop.
5. Install VMware tools for desktop.
