Rogue Legacy is a rogue light game instead of rogue like because when you die, you re-spawn as a different character and your save file does not get deleted. You are even encouraged to die as you will re-spawn with a more powerful knight with extra abilities and you can spend the gold you collect on items such as weapons, spells and armor or on your castle to unlock more features such as more health and classes.

I am also editing this series so that 1 video is 1 whole life. The video can last a few minutes or maybe even over an hour. I can only promise that I will try my hardest to finish the game in as few deaths as possible.
