Rogue Trader 010: Defeating Aurora... Again
1Abner tanks a Chaos Marine; thanks to his Forgeworld Heavy Armor talent, this kick that's supposed to knock him over fails. He also tanks multiple burst fire lasguns to the face from adds, and repeatedly parries the boss's chain sword with his regular twohanded sword. The kick is supposed to set you up to get hit by the low hit rate bleed AoE, but since Abner can't be knocked prone, he just nulls both like a champ. The fight did take us three attempts, because the first round of the first attempt, the boss simply moved and used a burst fire attack that crit four people knocking them out of the fight, and the second time, he triggered his move to the other side of the map while we were too far away to prevent him from destroying the objective. The third time, we were ready to get Abner into position after the boss's free move to block him off from destroying the next objective.
We also got our second archetypes. Abner is a Vanguard; Abelard is an Assassin; Heinrix and Argenta are Archmilitants; Pasqal is a Grand Strategist; Cassia is a Master Tactician; Idira is a Bounty Hunter. I pity any character who joins us after this point, as I fear what Owlcat will have done to their builds
