0She is the daughter of Astra Militarum officers who died in battle and only one memory of that life still exists in her mind. In it, Argenta has another name and sees grey ship hulls, dirty military camps, dank trenches, faceless people in Astra Militarum uniforms, the roar of a counterattack and the crescendo of her mother's heart-rending cry. This is then broken by an ominous silence... and the image of a golden Aquila lying among the ashes in the bleak environment. Upon seeing it, she knew it was the symbol of the Emperor and that He was responsible for Argenta surviving the hell that had taken her parents' lives. Afterwards, she would lose all of her other memories of her earlier life, due to Argenta's Schola Progenium's harsh training. This included her birth name, which was replaced with the name of the Imperial Saint Argenta. However that last memory that contained the golden Aquila, would forever guide Argenta's life. The Emperor would become a semantic constant for her, an object of worship and an impeccable role model. Argenta was guided by this shining symbol, sure that the Emperor had chosen for some great, as yet unknown, purpose.
As her training continued, Argenta proved herself time and time again in her Schola Progenium and then ascended to the ranks of the Adepta Sororitas. Upon doing so, it seemed that she lived and breathed for one purpose - to achieve perfection worthy of the Emperor's most faithful warriors. She is unstoppable and sometimes too audacious in the battlefield, which became Argenta's temple and her bolter rounds were the words of her fervent prayer. The long path of Argenta's faithful service would eventually lead her to the Footfall Space Station in the Koronus Expanse. There, she joined a small mission of her Order to guard a holy reliquary, but Argenta would later abandon her post. What caused this to happen is a tightly held secret, but speculation includes Argenta having a holy epiphany or possibly suffering a fall from grace.
