Rogue Wizards - Gameplay Demo

Not bad! A very charming roguelike/lite, depending on your difficulty setting. Closer to the actual definition of a roguelike which is turn-based instead of realtime.
The graphics and sound design are more on the cutesy side and charming. Dungeons are randomly generated - I died once, and didn't end up playing the same dungeon. There's a permadeath mode which is closer to roguelike - the story mode is roguelite in that you keep your items after death, but restart the dungeons. The concept of building up a town by rescuing(?) people is also neat too and provides some respite from the dungeon crawl.
I wish there was better keyboard support though, because clicking to move around isn't one of my favourite control methods in any kind of video game. I also wish I learnt of the speed option earlier. What was annoying was the animation of the hooded figures when they did their long-ranged spell, having to wait it out was somewhat agonising.
It's cool, though, and the fact that this video did end up at an hour long does show it was kind of addicting, even though I quickly ran the last dungeon just because it was annoying to have died.
