Roguelike Deckbuilder Where You Create Your Cards | My Card Is Better Than your Card! Demo Gameplay
3Hello everyone! We continue with the demos of the Steam Next Fest, and this is My Card Is Better Than Your Card!, an adorable roguelike deckbuilder where you are trying build up on awesomeness so you are the coolest kid. The whole artistic department is 10/10, both visuals and sound fit perfectly, delivering a cozy and adorable atmosphere. The core gameplay is quite unique and engaging, but the only part I didn't like was the run progression, as a roguelike, because it is way too RNG, where you only have two options to choose from and then the rest is predetermined, so you basically go where they tell you to go (and, because of that, you end up being forced to go to shop multiple times without any money). Really cool if you want to chill, but not ready yet if you want to take it as a serious roguelike.
More options would be better and, also, do I get my worst cards on the first turn by default? Because it looked like that, at least, most of the time.
