ROM Hack Museum | Power Peach Sis. • Super Mario Bros. • Full Play-through
What if Peach was doing the saving instead of Mario? Maybe she has a sister. Maybe they are the Power Peach Sisters. This is a ROM hack that swaps Mario and The Princess in SMB1 allowing you to revisit the classic in a whole new way! Want more female protagonists in your retro game collection? Want to casually float over the huge gaps in World 8? Want to rain fire down on Bowser in revenge? Now you can!
ROM Hack Name: "Power Peach Sis." | SiWu, 2015
Original Game: Super Mario Bros. (NES) | Nintendo, 1985
You can also play as Daisy by combining this with another ROM hack

The custom sprites are part of a different hack so you'll need to patch your ROM twice. Watch my video tutorial on how to use IPS files to understand Lunar IPS if you don't, it's very simple. Patch your SMB1 with Peach Edition (pay attention to base ROM type), then patch the same file with Power Peach Sis. Power Peach Sis has you recovering a Power Star instead of Mario. If you want to swap it back you can then apply the Peach Edition patch a second time and the sprites will change back to its set without losing the floating jump.
One other cool thing you can do with this hack is play as Daisy by combining it with another hack called Luigi Game (link below). If you patch Luigi Game on last after all of the above then you end up with an option to play as Daisy who has both Luigi's SMB2J jump and Peach's Float. High I'm Daisy.
