This mod replaces Richter with Maria from the Symphony of the Night copy found in Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles. This means you have to type "RICHTER" when starting a new game, and existing saves with Richter will load Maria instead.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is a ground-breaking action-adventure game released by Konami in 1997 for the PlayStation. It is widely regarded as one of the greatest video games of all time, credited with redefining the Castlevania series and helping pioneer the "Metroidvania" subgenre.

You play as Alucard, the son of Dracula, exploring the mysterious and sprawling halls of his father’s resurrected castle. Unlike previous entries in the series, Symphony of the Night emphasises non-linear exploration, RPG elements, and character progression. Players collect items, gain experience, and unlock new abilities that allow access to previously unreachable areas, encouraging backtracking and discovery.

Notable features include:
A vast, interconnected castle map with a hidden inverted version, doubling the game’s size.
A deep inventory system with weapons, armour, spells, and familiars.
