Female-to-male romance tips:
For Rhelmar:
■ In Act 1, ask him about his past and tell him he did the right thing by fighting the Deadwalkers before the the elves officially joined the war.
■ Act 1 sidequest, Cure for the Prince. When you reach Valvenor, speak with Rhelmar to learn that his prince needs help. Speak with Silban at the Inn. Silban willl request that you loot 2 Queen Chrystallid Pheromone samples. The Queens spawn when you visit the western swamp at night. Kill the Queens and the deliver the pheromones to complete the quest.
■ Act 1 sidequest, Idea for Traps. After meeting Edwen, speak with Rhelmar and encourage his new idea for traps. Once the quest has started, exit the village to one of the swamp regions, and return. Speak with Rhelmar again to complete the quest and to improve your own traps.
■ Act 2 sidequest, Souls of the Elves. Rhelmar will ask that you collect 20 elven soul stones. This can't be completed until after you've learned the fate of the Elven king. The Finder Feat will be useful for tracking the dead elves.
■ Act 2 sidequest, Camp Security. After learning the fate of the Elven King, speak with Rhelmar. He'll ask for traps. Agree right away, and complete the quest by delivering 10 traps.
■ Act 3 final quest, Soul of a Prince. Kill the Creator Concubine with Rhelmar; this causes the corpse piles in the sewers to diminish. Return to the large pile of corpses on the sewers bottom level, and find Prince Arandil's corpse with Rhelmar. After the scene, lead Rhelmar west and interact with the cliff-face for another scene. When you get the chance to speak, be nurturing by saying that Rhelmar did everything he could.

For Randval:
■ In Act 1, ask him about his motives and past. When he says he hopes to find a glorious death in battle, encourage his mindset by saying he should "stick with you" if he wants battle. Then, on the subject of his past, encourage him to speak on it by saying that it might be his "last chance" to speak of it.
■ Act 1 sidequest, The Recruitment of Randval. Randval will challenge you to a duel in Act 1. Once you win, he asks to join the Freeborn Blades. Say that you'll speak with the Captain for him. With Randval following you, speak with the Captain to complete the quest.
■ Act 2 sidequest, Randval the Loner. At the start of Act 2, speak with Randval. He'll ask to scout the region by himself. Comply with his request. Later in the Act 2, (after learning the Elven King's fate), Randval will ask for your help to take out an enemy patrol. Follow your map marker to the attack location. Once the enemies dead, the quest will complete and you'll gain the Assassin crossbow.
■ Act 3. Kill every Concubine (Stalker, Watcher, Creator, and Guardian) with Randval as your battle partner.
