Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven [Switch 2024] [Part 30] (Final Gen) [No Commentary]
0In this part we find the Amazoness tribe, but since we are a male we cannot enter the village or recruit them at this time. If you are female, you can enter and recruit them right then.
Back on the island, the volcano is about close to eruption and if you choose to not help the Salamanders, they all will die and you cannot recruit them for the army, although you gain access to an island that will rise afterwards that contains the tome that allows you to due several things:
--- Unlock Umbra/Dark magic to create.
--- Giving the tome to the Diviner at the inn will unlock them as a class. it's impossible to have the Diviner and Salamander at the same time.
--- Giving the tome to the sorcerer in his fort alternately nets you nothing except overall less income due to the island becoming inhabitable, but he'll thank you.
[Dark magic is kinda eh, but there are some fun spells to use. If anything, a reason to play the game a second time to do alt choices]
If you choose to help/save the Salamanders, the island will not be destroyed and you can recruit them to your army, but lose access to dark magic, the diviner class, but you gain a secret boss fight with the sorcerer if you remembered he existed.
After all that, we unlock the blacksmith lady as a party member by giving her those ore's we got as a quest way back then and after some more university tests, we chase after a wandering minstrel to return his missing instruments, but we seem to miss him every single time...
Playing on the Nintendo Switch, although it's on PC and other consoles as well. There's a demo for it available as well that carries over to the main game if purchased.
