I just like to trip on these, imagine how it would have been back then, be a part of a big army, hearing the footsteps of thousands of men almost in unison, no talk, no war drums or war cries, just walking towards the enemy, calm and ready for anything. I have heard that this was one of the fears that a Roman army always inflicted upon their enemies. While the opposite army was screaming and shouting to raise morale, the Roman army was coming towards them silent, disciplined, an unbreakable wave wiping everything in its path.
