Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway 03/09/19 | Out & About | Littlewood Junction
2On the 3rd of September 2019 we took to the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway (RH&DR) for a few trips with some amazing little steam and diesel engines.
We have been to the RH&DR a few times before, but this is the first time that we have ever recorded anything from the line.

Over the course of the day we took a trip behind Canadian Based design 'Winston Churchill', driven by experienced steam driver Zak Clark, with other engines Green Goddess and Southern Maid also in operation as well as diesel engine J.B Snell, we also got the chance in the engine shed to witness Northern Chief Steaming up for a boiler examination.
Overall, a great day was had and for anyone interested, it is an amazing little line and definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

MY LAYOUTS:
Littlewood Junction - Layout set in the 1950' / 1960's era, a countryside / city layout featuring a station, goods yard, two town scenes, coaling yard, two farms, industrial site and lots more, most traction is seen on this layout.
Littlewood Lower Goods - The smaller and more portable layout of the two, this one features an industrial yard with a sidings and shunting area, it is a 'end-of-the-line' scene meaning trains will enter via the factory mouth, be shunted around and moved out again.
