Once again, not much I can do about the Hyphy Movement, the San Francisco Bay Area residents who prove that it doesn't deserve to be called the "Yay Area", the shallow girls who would say "wanna suck my pee" just to mock me, and the Oakland rioters, so I thought I'd do a guide. Thanks to a few friends, I was able to figure out my sound problem and now you get to hear Rondo of Swords' music. So I'm going to do the infamous Chapter 1 Rout. Wait, Chapter ONE ROUT? Well, Chapter 1 is an escape chapter. But as it turns out, the rout is actually EASIER than the standard escape method alone, though a lot more tedious. Which is odd because you get rewarded a lot more for doing the rout. You get lousy items for Narrow Victories compared to better ones, but still, the bosses' equipment alone would easily make up for it. Not to mention the experience for Serdic and quite possibly Margus.

*Armor soldier wave 1 - the armor guys won't move until enemy phase 3, by which point, you should have dealt with the Infantry Scouts in the area and should be ready to move Serdic and Kay into the alley, and Margus into the corner to the south of it. Do so, then have Serdic attack in Normal status until the armor is down to below 65 HPs, and then OB. (Obviously, if you don't have the OB ready, restart. Short of a stint of bad luck, that shouldn't happen.) The second OB won't be ready when the same applies for the second guy, but you can simply use the Spanta Juice if necessary, then whack both of the armors, have Kay attack as well, and then when the remaining armor attacks, just attack back again. After that, just boss abuse Alberich (who won't move until after he talks about joining the hunt, because fighting back already makes too much sense.....and this is far from the only thing here that would).
*Armor soldier wave 2 - again, alley camp, but this time, place Kay and Margus at the northeast corner. Use the OB wisely, primarily to smoke the Guardian, who has a nastily high attack power rating so you want to make sure you eliminate his threat rating. Make sure when you finish off the enemies you have a Level 1 OB ready.
*Gauss and The Dragons - always use Serdic's OB at L1. L2 and L3 are more powerful, but not by enough to justify their cost in this case. Be sure to strike Matthias and Clotho from 3 spaces west of the latter, and Gauss from 5 spaces west of him. Do this every time you have an L1 OB ready, but bear in mind that finishing off Gauss immediately "clears" the battle.
*War Mages - trigger them with Serdic while leaving Kay and Margus around the town entrance, then retreat Serdic to there and camp using Kay's Movement threat and support healing to gradually bait the War Mages' spells out until they're out of MP. I don't recommend baiting them into using the diagonal spells despite them being more expensive because they can OHK each other with them. Instead, when baiting, place a character fewer than 7 spaces away from only one (who isn't already drained) and they'll use the single target spell. You'll want them alive after this because they're a much needed source of OB.
*Earnest and armor cronies - place a full health Serdic or Margus at the end of the left armor's movement; they should be in range of Earnest's long range spell, which costs 53 MP. Earnest, being a math failure, has 3 less than what would allow him to cast the spell 3 times. After the 2 spells, bait out the armor guy and gradually wear him down, bearing in mind that he has Zone of Control and a strong attack. Basically repeat for the other guy. After those two are dealt with, go 2 spaces left of the blue flower with a full health Serdic or Margus to make Earnest waste his remaining MP, then bait out Earnest in a similar manner to the armors.
*Infantry Scouts and Linesman - since these guys are at a low level, Serdic won't get much EXP, so it's recommended to have Serdic just bait them and soften them up, then Margus finish them off. Beware of the Linesman; he actually moves if you're in 2 turns of range of him, and he has 7 Movement too.
